Currinda lets you add pages and polls to your event smartphone app. Any page created on the App Pages tab shows up on the native app — a good place for welcome messages or extra information for delegates. Polls are set up via the Polls tab, engaging delegates with live polling and instant feedback.
Adding custom pages
Navigate to the Smartphone App section of your event, then click the Pages tab to add to your current pages or create new ones. Configuration options:
- Name — assigns a title to the page.
- Active? — determines whether the page is shown in the smartphone app.
- Default Page? — sets this page as the default when a user opens the list of pages.
- Section — which section/bottom tab of the app the page appears under.
- Type — Content (custom content displayed on the page) or URL (links to an external page).
Once set up, the page automatically appears in the Event Info section of the smartphone application.
Live polling
On the App section of your event, click the Polls tab to create a poll — use "+ Add New Poll Pages," then add multiple questions within each poll page via "+ Add New Poll Question." A dialog box lets you create and later edit each question.
To link a poll to a session, select Program from the top menu, click Edit on the session, expand the Polls section in the session dialog, and link it to the poll page. Save so the change reflects in the native app. Poll questions are then available to attendees by navigating to the relevant session in the app.
