Currinda lets you easily build your own event website using its flexible website builder — simple tools and steps to create a stylish, functional event website.
Pages
A Page is an ordered collection of Sections — adding sections, creating content, formatting and ordering them builds your customised website. Multiple pages can exist within a website; by default one main page is created, with extra pages treated as secondary places for additional information.
Sections and cards
A section is one slice of a page — the speaker section, sponsor section, venue section, etc. A section may contain one or more cards, displayed according to the section's column layout. A card contains information about a specific thing — e.g. a speaker card with bio and profile picture, or a sponsor card with logo and website link. Cards can be added and ordered as needed.
Theme and layout
Set the website theme from multiple options, and customise each section's structure/layout with multiple columns and styling via the column layout tool, which lets you set vertical columns for each section.
Creating links and buttons
A well-placed button can prompt a user to register, read more about speakers, or start submitting a paper.
- Write the content of your link.
- Highlight the text and click the link button (chain-link icon).
- Enter the URL and hit OK.
- Save the page.
To style it as a button: drag the Button Group to change placement, provide the URL to link the button, customise the button's size, and save the page.
Background images for sections
If setting a background image on a section (often the header), manipulate your image to match the section's size. The most common desktop display ratio is 16:9, at 1366x768px — images not designed to these constraints may appear stretched.
